Wuaahhhh...just saw the clock ticker..
It's about only a month to Evvah's 3rd birthday.
I haven't done anything yet.,Ok maybe I did ask around for her birthday cake.
She's so undecided, sometimes it's Handy Manny, sometimes it's Minni Mouse, then there's Dora.
Location, Location, Location.....where to have it this time around.
Her 1st birthday was a blast..as it was mainly catered for the adults , 2nd birthday was at home, it was hot, stuffy and quite uncomfortable, but papa's friends still managed to party for 12 hours...
So where's it gonna be this year. Those play gyms are abit too costly for now, and not sure if we have a minimum quota of 15 kids or not.
Oh gosh, I'm so not ready ler this year...but then this is the year when she seems to understand so much more.
She's so much more involved now. Telling me she wanna buy the party packs, telling me about which freinds to call....sigh...mommy is so ill-prepared this time ...
Gotta buck up, and get something ready by 6th August 2011...

Good Life
So, here's another nice song that's on radio now..:)
Good Life lyrics
[Verse 1]
Woke up in London yesterday
Found myself in the city near Piccadilly
Don't really know how I got here
I got some pictures on my phone
New names and numbers that I don't know
Address to places like Abbey Road
Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want
We're young enough to say
[Chorus]
Oh this has gotta be the good life
This has gotta be the good life
This could really be a good life, good life
Say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight
Like this city is on fire tonight
This could really be a good life
A good, good life
[Verse 2]
To my friends in New York, I say hello
My friends in L.A. they don't know
{ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/o/one-republic-lyrics/good-life-lyrics.html }
Where I've been for the past few years or so
Paris to China to Col-or-ado
Sometimes there's airplanes I can' t jump out
Sometimes there's bullshit that don't work now
We are god of stories but please tell me-e-e-e
What there is to complain about
[Bridge 1]
When you're happy like a fool
Let it take you over
When everything is out
You gotta take it in
[Bridge 2]
Hopelessly
I feel like there might be something that I'll miss
Hopelessly
I feel like the window closes oh so quick
Hopelessly
I'm taking a mental picture of you now
'Cuz hopelessly
The hope is we have so much to feel good about
[Chorus]

Middle Born Child.
Personality Traits of the Middle Child
From: surfnetparents.com
Being the middle child is usually not very easy. It comes with some stigma. When it comes to middle children, they typically take on one of two personality types. Their personalities are usually more polarized. The following is a look at some of the traits of a middle child's personality.
The first type of personality a middle born child may have is that of a loner. They are used to the first born and last born getting the attention, and so they become a bit of a loner. They are often shy because they have learned to let those who desperately seek the spotlight have it. They often become impatient quickly simply because they expect to be the last one to get what they want or need. Many middle children end up being rather uptight adults.
The middle child will have her own set of traits.
On the other hand, middle children may end up with almost opposite personality traits to those listed above. They may be very outgoing because they have to be to get attention. They may be extra friendly because they are used to being surrounded by people. They are often loud, and have fairly laid back personalities.
Usually a middle child will end up with an almost opposite personality to that of their siblings. Of course, not every middle child will have these characteristics, but research shows that birth order can affect personality type.
Most middle children have the following personality traits:
They are fairly flexible. They have grown up needing to be flexible.
The tend to be diplomatic. Most middle children have a lot of practice at being diplomatic. They are usually in some sort of struggle with their siblings, which helps them learn the skills of diplomacy.
They are often rebellious. The middle child tends to be overlooked by the parents. No matter how hard parents try, they usually end up giving less attention to the middle child. The first child had time with just their parents without any child, and is used to that. The last child will typically get time with just their parents once everyone else moves out. The middle child usually has to share the attention. This means that they often act out in order to get noticed.
They tend to be attention seeking. This goes back to the same reasons as before. They are used to being the one who is overlooked somehow, so they often seek attention, often in negative ways.
They are usually competitive. Being a middle child typically requires fighting for the spotlight, etc. They typically have to share things like vehicles, wear handed down clothes, etc. This often results in the fostering of a competitive nature.
They are also often peacemakers. Middle children are typically peacemakers by nature. They have to be because they have someone on either side of them.
Middle children need lots of reassurance that they are important the first and last child. Some ways to avoid the negative aspects of a middle child personality is just insuring they are confident and secure in your love for them.

Finally by Fergie
A very beautiful song I heard this morning on the radio. Ever since I was a baby girl I had a dream
Cinderella theme
Crazy as it seems
Always knew that deep inside that there would come that day
But I would have to wait
Make so many mistakes
I couldn't comprehend
As I watched it unfold
This classic story told I left it in the cold
Walking through an open door that led me back to you
Each one unlocking more of the truth
I finally stopped tripping on my youth
I finally got lost inside of you
I finally know that I needed to grow
And finally my mate has met my soul
[chorus]
Finally
Now my destiny can begin
Though we will have our differences
Something strange and new is happening
Finally
Now my life doesn't seem so bad
It's the best that I've ever had
Give my love to him finally
MMMMMMMM
I remember the beginning you already knew
I acted like a fool
Just trying to be cool
Fronting like it didn't matter
I just ran away
And on another phase
Was lost in my own space
Found what its like to hurt selfishly
Scared to give of me
Afraid to just believe
I was in a jealous, insecure, pathetic place
Stumbled through the mess that I have made
Finally got out of my own way
I've Finally started living for today
I finally know that I needed to grow
And finally my mate has met my soul
[chorus]
Finally
Now my destiny can begin
Though we will have a different set
Something strange and new is happening
Finally
Now my life doesn't seem so bad
It's the best that I've ever had
Gave my love to him Finally
MMMMMMMM
Finally, Finally
Finally
Now my destiny can begin
Though we will have our differences
Something beautiful is happening, happening
Finally
Now my life doesn't seem so bad
It's the best that I've ever had

Ohhhhhhh, Finally, Finally, finally

Blighted What?
Blighted Ovum, my Dear.
It was 23rd April , Saturday, after work, that we were so eager to go get a scan done.
we got a positive on the UPT, however, to share the GREAT news with our families, we wanted to get a scan to get a confirmation. The next day, would be Easter Sunday, and we're meeting my family in BSC for lunch. So we thought that would be the best time to let everyone know.
Then the crash-boom -bang begins. We were hunting for a doc that has scanning facilities here in KJ. Went to Giant, a polyclinic there, they said doc only will be in at 4pm..so we went to another klinik. Qualitas, they said they only do UPT, no scanners, but the nurse was nice enough to tell us to try at another clinic nearby, we rushed there, then the nurse at the counter tells us, the scanning machine is not functioning. I was like...OMG...what's wrong ler...
Then I thought of another place which I searched on the net earlier. Another child and women's clinic in SS2. So we reached there, there was a doctor, there were scanning facilites..I thought to myself..finally..
So when we went in..the standard questions were asked. So, upon estimation we would have been 6 weeks gestation. The horror started started when the doc scanned and was not very convincing.
He says he sees a sac , but no fetus...
I was like..what?..what? what the heck is this? what the heck is blardy wrong?
Then doc kinda said , give another week, then we scan again..if still no signs of LIFE, then suggest a D&C.
I thought I was OK..at the counter settling bills still OK..
Then going back into my car...i poured...really poured...just like the weather outside...raining like mad.
I was totally messed up, frustrated..and everything else which I don't even know how to describe now.
My eyes were totally swelled up, I dunno how to console myself. N was totally lost too. but he tried consoling himself, saying probably doc could have been wrong, or probably we're still too early to see anything
Reached home, grabbed the ipad...typed and searched..
found out , my actual diagnosis could have been "BLIGHTED OVUM"
whereby, there is a sac, but there is no fetus.
I was torn , confused,and angry.all kinda shitty feelings.
the same evening I had to attend a friend's son's 1st Birthday, and another friends' bangle ceremony.
Oh gosh..how was I to do this?
How to face everyone, when my world just crashed.
I had to ..not much choice..attended both events.totally devastated and lost
I had to turn to God, only he could give me the calmness I needed.
Then 2 weeks later, we made an appt with another dr.
told us the same thing, said I have a miscarriage
I was much cooler this time.already all prepared for the same news
He scheduled me for my D&C as well, after my trip from Bandung.
Thank goodness, while in bandung nothing serious happened, or else I would have spoilt my friends, holidays.
So I came home, then went back to Assunta Hospital, met Dato Dr Menon.
And finally he felt so bad, and he told me that i have a condition called "BLIGHTED OVUM"
He was the only doc who came up with the correct terminology and diagnosis.
So I went for my D&C. All finish and done with.
I was sad, devastated and crushed.
But after taking solace in God and HIS plans, I realised I am just his instrument.
What I went through, has brought me closer to a long lost friend, which I'm very grateful for.
It would not have happened if it weren't for this ordeal.
Gain some , lose some.
But all in all, in our lives, we always have to submit and be humble.
We are but merely His Subjects.
I'm happy to say, I'm able to pull through this phase of my life, thanks to friends and family who were my great support.
And I'm also grateful that I've turned to God in my hour of need, or else I can't imagine being stuck in the moments of grief and not coming out of it.
I pray that someday, if it is HIS will, then we can have a kid again.

PTD
This time I'm writing about my PTD journey thus far.
I'm trying to go from PT to PTD.(physio to pegawai tadbir diplomatik)
PTD( Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik)
I tried applying for this post online via SPA's website in the midnight of the new year of 2010.
It was early Jan 1st 2010. After submitting my form, then I didn't give much thought to this.
I never thought i'd be called whatsoever, I was just trying my luck.
Why I decided to try for this instead of U41 Physio post in govt, it was because some ppl said it won't be easy to get, got to fight with tons of KKM seniors...so I didn't wanna fight....another thing was I was worried that I might get some outskirts hospital, difficult for me to move there.funny that I never gave thoughts about this when I was thinking abt PTD.
So,ok...I carried on with work in dear PPUM...then March 2010 arrived, two of my closest work buddies decide they are leaving....gosh !!! It wasn't the shock of them leaving so soon, but it was the company that i was missing. Going to work wasn't the same anymore. I felt bored, frustrated with work system and felt lonely at work. Then I decided since I was to being alone, I need to get out of this place, and be alone somewhere than be in this place where the system just does twirl or me anymore.
Then somewhere in Sept 2010,my life changed. I decide to move from this place where I've been working for 8years and to venture into something new. Out into the private sector.the corporate world.
Well, I was given a managerial post, things were diff, pay was lucrative in the physio-sense of it and most of all, the set-up is small, so it shoulde have been easier to talk to your superiors.and so i I thought!!!!being naive and kind does not get you anywhere in this man eat man world. Things were weird for me.I really can't fit in.
Then mid October, letter from the govt reached Taman Muda, the all so important address for important letters for me. I was selected for the1st lap of PTD test. It was to be a written exam. Objective questions and essays. Went for it, worried and scared. It was held in SMK Bangsar. Saw many young girls and boys there, made me feel old ...gosh, but what the heck...just gave it a shot.
Then things went on, till this year 2011,somewhere in Jan or Feb...I found out I passed Lap 1...and have to go for lap 2. This was the PAC, which is the Programme Assessment Centre.
Here we're tested on our opinions, our language skills, our problem solving skills, and public speaking skills.
There was also physical test, whereby they made us run 2.4 km.I don't think I scored here, as it was a rainy day...I dint wanna slip and fall and hurt myself. BTW, my PAC was held in INTAN, Jalan Elmu.
So so near for me, thank God for that.
As days go by,the feeling of me wanting to get this job just got stronger.
Not because I'm dying to be a officer, but it would be great though.
Just can 't wait to go back to stability. Fixed rules. No grey areas.
Well...then news has it that I also passed my PAC, found out on15th may2011.
I was ecstatic...dunno why.
Now to the last lap...the Semi FINALS....seems like American Idol....slowly...everyone goes through a process of elimination...and the best ONE wins....thank God...for this, they need more than 1 winner....:)
9th June2011...my D -day....big INTERVIEW Day...also was a good friends' birthday. hope her birthday lucks falls on me too.
Reached SPA, Jalan Cenderasari early. Registered myself, thinking that if there were others ahead of me, they'd be first to be interviewed.Too bad...I happen to be the first candidate in the first room.
Our names have been pre-divided into respective rooms, and sequence.
But I was glad it was over by8.30 am...but I was practically shaking throughout.
All in all it WAS an experience, this whole journey.
I have finally finished my 3 laps....whatever lies ahead is up to the Almighty. But when I asked lil E,her opinion,"should mommy work in govt or private? " her innocent answer was :"govt".......that really surprised me....well, not that she knows what's the difference...butane did tell me further...." private too tough for you"....then I got really shocked...woahhh..this girl is something la....
So...My FINALE will be known on the 18th of July 2011...
All the best to me and all those who were there at the interview today...
Till we meet again...

What About Now?
"Friendship must never be buried under the weight of misunderstanding" saw that quote somewhere, thought that it's especially relevant at the current moment.
After leaving Sec school for 15 years now, things have changed so much. In sec school, friends were like treasures.
We hang out together, do good and bad stuffs together, cry together, laugh together. As years pass on, things revolutionize. College life, then finding our own other halves and getting on to building our own new families.Together with all these comes the ups and downs in our own families, deaths, severe illness of family members and so on. So much happens in the span of that 15 years, till I personally have lost touch with my closest buddies.Although we still keep in touch, but for me things are not quite the same anymore. Most of my friends have left KL and we hardly keep in touch via technology.
There were plans for our 20th anniversary celebration later this August, but things have been rough for all of us. I and Lihan had a some confrontation. Chen and Chien Hui had a major argument. Wen Sing and Pei Sun accused Lihan of some stuff. So much has been going on. I guess, it's all because we've grown and adapted to different lifestyles and cultures, and it's so so hard to come to terms with one another now.
I'm not sure when will we be ready to reconcile again. Just hope in all our misunderstandings, we can pause awhile and go back to those happy , carefree days and see how united and for each other we were. We shouldn't wait for tragedies to bring us closer. Although, I'm, very happy that the little 'tragedy' I had had brought me and Ade talking again. Probably if we all be a lil less selfish, or lil more open to accept criticism from ppl who have known us all along, then maybe we can change for the better
My wish is to have this anniversary thingy 'on'. we won't know how many more anniversaries we can celebrate ,before it's too late :)

liFe iS liKe a RolLerCoASteR...
Just as it's past the 6th month mark in my new working environment, i get some news. There'd be changes, not sure if they are small or big. It could be HUGE even. Initially I thought I could get through it, but after some time I came to realise, it's not that easy.Got the news on Saturday, and there goes my weekend. The ultimate weekend i planned to spend quality time with my mini-family, as me and hubs celebrate our 10th year together. I shadowed my worries and fears behind the excitement and fun seeing E happy in the pool. Then Sunday, we came back home, and as I went to church alone, I had the chance to listen to the readings, gospel and sermon more attentively. It hit me right at the spot, when father said, sometimes we ask,"why me Lord?" or "why the Tsunami?" or "why the earthquake?". Then father simply stated, that the Lord's answer is simple, " So that my WORKS can be seen in you!" wow...powderful tu...
We all have a purpose and a reason, our ways will never match GOD's ways..all we need to do is surrender our lives and realised that if we trust in HIM, we can make it through.
As I was driving ,to pick hubs and E from ss5, i was listening to this ,
and i cried and sobbed and i finally poured out. I realised life is always a struggle. The more we try to be HIS disciple, the more struggles and obstacles we face. But i hold strong to my faith in HIM and hope that when i go back and meet my God, I can be proud that I leaned on HIM and kept the faith.

It's gonna rain ,mommy!
Lately the weather is so unpredictable.
It should be more hazy and cloudy during this time of the year.
But there's been thunderstorm and cloudy days and even floods in the East Coast.
Could the weather change be due to the recent Tsunami and earthquake in Japan?
well, i dunno. but all i know is that the world is in so much unrest these past months.
political unrest in the middle east. earthquake in Japan, China, Myanmar and Mexico.
all we as ppl who are not so affected by all of it is to pray, and prayers works wonders.
pray that God may spare us from destruction. pray that ppl may be able to pick up the pieces and get back their lives again. pray that govts and ppl in power may have more mercy and pray that we have food on our table each day.
in all our difficulties and the given circumstances , may we still have a child like conscience and like how E tells me, just by looking in the sky, " mommy, it's gonna rain!"

ABC
Just like to rant about my experience yesterday.
Went out for some nice lunch with my colleague yesterday.Enjoyed the paprik chicken and sambal belacan and all.
Then evening went back to mom's hosue and to see E. then we went to a nearby shop to get a doorbell , then suddenly I had a blardy stomach pain, i was sweating, felt uneasy. So rushed home with mom and E in tow. Tengok tengok I wnet to toilet and made some havoc there, just because of my lunch meal. Next time got to remember not to eat so much chili and sambal...especially those Arse Burning Chilli sambals..:), hence the title of todays post, ABC!!!! ehehhehe...oh yeah when was driving or rather speeding...i was already chanting 'kepala batu , kepala batu, kepala batu' ..in hope that my stomach upset can wait till i reach home...
it's an age old remedy from my Acaca , to mom and i practise it...and someday i hope E will learn how to use it too..:)

Hectic March
So now, March is almost coming to an end.
Quite a busy month for me.We started Lent this year in March, then JY's and CH's birthday was on the same day .Had to travel to Penang for the wedding dinner, and was not in time to celebrate with my other friends for CH's birthday. My apologies for that. Weather at that time was so hot , Then E fell ill, coughing and had fever. Oh gosh, things just did not turn out too well. But we did go to Batu Feringghi to get our cheap DVD's though. Had fun meeting up with my friends, whom some i have not met for some time now.
Overly tired after the one day trip, came back and fell ill too.
Then the following weekend, had something interesting and new. Had to be assessed on skills and personality to be qualified for a new job. Well what I mean by assess is that, literally whatever we do or don't do, talk or don''t talk is assessed. Had to be without E for that night. Had awesome roomates, i think they are coz they don't put on airs, and really down to earth ppl. Many of these ppl were just trying so damn hard to ensure they get the job, but I was there just because I waas given the opportunity. I really think that if I don't get it, it's still ok, as I can still do many other things, but to some others , it's that or nothing at all, at least that's what they seem to potray. Some of them looked like they ate sour pills or something, the whole time they were there they don't seem to able to smile or talk to anyone. During forced ranking, i did see someone put my name as their first, :) when it's all ended and it was time to go home, I was more than happy...so now it's time to wait for the results, apparenty it'll be out somewhere in early May. So we'll just wait and see. No matter the outcome, I'm happy I participated , at least I gained some new frindships and learn about other ppl's occupations there, oh yeah and also ppl's behaviours..:) kiasu = kiasi.
So, end of the month, we're having some blood test campiagn at our centre, hope it turns out well. and new rules for the coming month. We don't have to work full saturday anymore, so only half Saturdays and full weekdays. It may be a bit tiring , but heck , gotta live with it ler.
As March comes to a close, and April just around the corner, am hoping April be a more laid back month and less hectic for me. We'd be celebrating our 10 years anniversary on the 2nd, hope we can go somewhere nice with E.

Up and coming
This weekend , i'd be facing another test. A test to see if I'm fit enough to be in this new jobpost.
I wonder how's it all gonna be.
Gotta stay over a night , so I'd be missing my lil girl.
Lately weather has not been too good....hope i don't fall sick, as I;m already feeling feverish now.
Alls well ends well....not always..:)

When I Saw You
This is my first ever attempt at having my own blog.
Was listening to my old time favorite, by Mariah Carey.
Obviously the title of the song is "When i Saw You".
Hell, this song brings back lotsa memories. Of how my teenage life was.
I kinda hang on to songs and cling on to their lyrics, which somehow some songs seem to be so relevant to us at certain point in time.
Well, i'm pretty upset today at how thigns are,and how things are going.
I hope from here on, I would be able to express myself more through this blog.
Take a listen to the song,
till my next post, cheersss.....
